Description

The goal of WE-CAT is to jointly develop efficient and durable platinum group metal-free (PGM-free) electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction (OER) and hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) to be integrated into electrodes for alkaline water electrolyzer (A-WE) and anion exchange membrane water electrolyzer (AEM-WE).

WP1: Development of PGM-free anode electrocatalysts: i) synthesis, ii) characterization, iii) testing (BIU lead)

WP2: Development of PGM-free cathode electrocatalysts: i) synthesis, ii) characterization, iii) testing (UNIMIB lead)

WP3: PGM-free electrocatalysts integration and testing in: i) A-WE, ii) AEM-WE (joint lead)

WP4: Communication and Dissemination (joint lead)
